Hi Guys,
New to this forum. I have my Rotel Michi series stuff sitting under the bed and have only started thing about them again as I have a pair of Dynaudio Contour S5.4's on the way and I'm not sure how my Bel Canto eVo2i will cope with them.
I'm assuming the rb1080 would still be inferior to the Michi RHB10, but wondering if the rb1090 would improve upon the RHB10.
I currently have Dynaudio Special 25's so I might have a play over the weekend and compare the Michi vs the BelCanto and try and remember why I retired the RHB10 in the first place.
I also have the very beautiful looking Michi RHCD10 CD player that unfortunately has a dud laser now which apparently can't be replaced. I replaced the CD player with the Arcam FMJCD33, but it would be really nice if I could have the Michi CD player repaired somehow. Any ideas on any way to do this or do I have to accept the technicians advice here that nothing can be done. Its such a shame, the Arcam for similar dollars, looks very cheap compared to the Michi. The Michi was truly a work of art.
