Hi people,
When I had my Dynaudio Special 25's I changed from my Rotel Michi pre/power (200W) to the BelCanto eVo2i (120W) integrated. I felt that made the sound warmer, more pleasant.
I now have the Dyn Contour S5.4's and the other day got out the old Michi and used the Bel Canto as a preamp only. I was mightily impressed with the improvement this made. Now I'm thinking if the big Dyns like the power that much, would the RB1090 at 380W improve upon the Rotel Michi RHB10 (don;t think it was sold in US). I believe the Michi has very high current ability, and I believe it was built to a higher standard than any of the current Rotel line up.
Any thoughts on how the 1090 would compare to the Michi?
