After many years!

After selling my 1068/1075 combo for a denon 4306, well actually 2!
One blew up after 3 days, the other developed a crackly fault after 1 day. Arcam350, great, sounded nice, turned out to be a pig to operate......
Onkyo 875, nice.....
onkyo 906,flaky...
Tag av32r,loverly, no connections.....
BUT got the tag with a 1075...just picked up a 1069.....

I'm back where I belong...years of saying " best sound I ever had was the rotel stuff....grrrrr wish I'd kept that"

I almost lost my mind and picked up a 1077 yesterday as well, to replace the 1075 with.
Just because it's soooooo small!

I always said "NEWER ISN'T ALWAYS BETTER." I have the 1068/1075 combo
& 1066/1075 also. i just couldn't go back to a receiver. almost did a yamaha just to get the new hd surround sounds. but thanks to this site & 6-channel audio inputs!!!! ;x(

Got a quick q, have looked but not seen it anywhere.

I have skyhd connected via component and optical.
When watching cold case last night, which is in DD, during the ads there is an audible click as the 1069 switches between DD an Prologic,and a loss of sound albeit till it locks onto the signal again.

Anyone else have this, does it sound faulty?

Nope, its not faulty: the 1069 uses mechanical relay switches for better quality, and this is what you're hearing click.
