    Sure is quite in here

Seems the post in here have really dropped off lately.Either no one is buying Rotel due to the economy,or because some of the reported bugs or everyone's gear is running great. Not sure which or if all of these are true.

For me, it's partially the economy and partially the frequency with which problems seem to crop up. Firmware updates, etc. - not going there. Plus, I need 100+ watts with my B&W 683s, I don't want to spring for separates, the 1062 is not enough juice and without tone controls, it sure ain't gonna work.

        RA-1062 review - Hi-Fi Choice
        by simonb68
Hi-Fi Choice had a group test this month of integrated amps (£500-1700), including the RA-1062 (£595) - all in all they liked it a lot.

        Some quotes

'Nevertheless as part of its evolution from the RA-1060, exhaustive listening tests have apparently resulted in some 60-odd...

        Rotel ra-1062 transformer hum...
        by SGT
        Hello all,

just joined the forum after desparately googling out a solution for my problem: brand new Rotel ra-1062 (integrted amp) has developed audible hum near the transformer area. It can be heard from about 10-15cm (4-6in), but it changes the pitch to a higher frequency and level...

        RA-1062 upgrade / Bi-amping?
        by soren
        Hello,

I’m the happy owner of the RA-1062 integrated amp, a set of Linn Katan speakers, and a Beresford TC-7520 DAC. But, for some time now I’ve thought about upgrading my system (without spending too much money though).

Since the Katans can be bi-amped (passive and...

        RA-1062 used with RB-1080?
        by dnn8350
I have an RA-1062 which I use mainly for 2-channel music playback. I find it very musical, but feel the need for more power to provide greater ease with some material (e.g. concert grand piano at 'realistic' levels). The dealer has recommended driving an RB-1080 with the RA-1062 pre-outs. Any experience...

Preamp section of RA-1062 vs. RC-1070
        by Jamil
        Hello Rotel fans,

Can anyone comment on the difference between the preamp section of RA-1062 (Integrated amp) versus RC-1070 (stereo pre-amp). I would think the RC-1070 to be better in performance when mated with a standalone amp instead of using the pre-outs of the RA-1062 and hooking...
