Rsx 1057 center channel in multi-input

I am new to this forum and just purchased a Rsx 1057. I have set it up (with a lot of help looking at this forum) but have encountered an issue that I haven't been able to resolve. The center speaker works fine in all modes but in multi-input. I have the 1057 connected to a DVD/CD/SACD player by RCA cables for each speaker with all cables firmly connected. I'm I missing something in the set up of the 1057 or the dvd player?

Is the player programmed to output to all channels?
Are you testing it with software than has a center channel signal?

Well, that suggests a bad cable, the player output or, unfortunately, the MCH input. Try swapping the center and LF leads to narrow it down.

          Rotel RSX-1057 versus RSX-1067
          by fatswillie123
Hi just opened my new B & W 804s'. (running them on an old Pioneer pro logic 105 watts) Now, do I go with the Rotel RSX-1057, that I bought but is unboxed, or do I step up and pay $900 more retail and get the RSX-1067. I will be running these 2 speakers only for Ht. Maybe a sub and center channel...

          Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if someone could tell me the difference between the 1057 and 1058? I know there is more HDMI's, Optical's and more 12v remotes just wondering if there is anything else? Is there any audio quality difference?

          Rotel RSX-1057 vs. RSX-15 series
          by jjhall5150
After listening to several models of AVR's. I have decided that I want to go with a Rotel setup for my new HT system.

My question is quality of sound between the 1057 and the newer 15 series.

I will not be listening at extreme loud levels, and I will be purchasing a 3...

First post, thanks for the great forum.

I have over several years tried to pull the trigger on a good surround sound system and music system that I can afford and enjoy for many many years. In the past I start out with a certain price point in mind and over the course of my research...
