Rx950-ax CD Stereo light? static?

    Rx950-ax CD Stereo light? static?

    I just plugged my rx950-ax.
    Can someone tell me if its normal that the stereo light doesn't light up when selecting and playing from CD player? (But its on when in FM Stereo)
    And what's up with the static when i touch the top cover?

      I would assume the stereo light is just for the tuner. Any of the stereo RCA inputs are presumed to be in stereo just by their connection method.

      As far as the static, is it just when you first touch it (static discharge) or can you touch it and keep producing noise when moving your finger?
