    Rotel RSP-1069 HELP! 1080p@24

    Help.

This device is royally pissing me off. I have a 1080p24fps capable BD player. If I plug the player directly into my Mitsubishi HC 5000 I can achieve beautiful 24fps playback without issue. HOWEVER, If i plug in the BD player to my Rotel RSP 1069 it messes up the 1080p24fps playback.

    Please help.

it shouldnt...I have confirmed that I get 1080p 24 with running through my 1069. Ensure you are bypassing the video processor in the 1069.

      mkedda,
Give Rotel a call. You may need a firmware update for you're RSP-1069. I have a Panasonic Bluray player and was having problems with 24p through my 1069 into my Pioneer Plasma. A firmware update fixed my issues. By the way, I am running my 1069 with the HDMI bypass option enabled.

      Cheers.

I believe this question has already been answered in another thread related to the RSP-1069, but I just wanted to clarify it directly for my own decision-making purposes…

Can anyone verify with certainty that the RSP-1069 applies bass management (crossover, distance, and level) settings...

        Hi all,

A few months ago I purchased a Rotel RSP1069 pre/pro to replace my aging Rotel RSP976. The main feature I wanted was the ability to process multi-channel PCM audio via HDMI. It took several months to get it integrated into my system, get the control side of things sorted out...

I just purchased a JL Audio F110 sub and want to set this up correctly with my RSP-1069 and B&W 805s.

Is it better to use the bass management from the RSP1069 or the separate controls on the F110?

So far, on the RSP1069 I set crossover at 80 and sub level in...

How to tell if the RSP1069 has the scaler bypass mod?
        by Ross1069
        Hi all,

I'm getting ready to upgrade from my, now ancient, RSP976 to the RSP1069. I have a dealer willing to do a really good price on the 1069, but I'd like to know if there's an easy way to tell whether the unit has had the video scaler bypass modification done or not.
