    Rotel Packaging?

For those who own the 1570 pre-pro and/or the 1575 amp - I picked up these two products and have yet to open the boxes (I'm awaiting interconnects that I ordered). I have kind of a silly concern. My new Rotel products (black by the way) appear to be factory wrapped, but yesterday I happened to come across a picture of the box of someone's new 15 series receiver -- it was sealed with tape that was distinctly printed with "ROTEL" in green letters. My boxes just have clear tape. Can you fellow owners recall how your product was packed/sealed? Thank you.

Rotel usually opens most new products and bench tests them before they head out. Also, what box was pictured? They should be double-boxed and just the inside box should have the Rotel Tape.

Both my silver 10 series RB-1050 amps had green Rotel tape on white Rotel boxes My 10 series RMB-1095 was so big and heavy it came in an all brown Rotel box with huge staples. It was double boxed and I don't remember any tape on the outer box.

The outer (Brown) boxes will have clear tape on them, However, the inner (White) boxes should come sealed with the official Rotel tape with "ROTEL" in green on a white backing. As long as the White box is sealed with the official ROTEL tape then you should have no cause for worry.

To some that may seem like a presumptious title, but after spending about an hour now with the 1077 running 2 channel, it may be closer to the truth than many can imagine. The 1077 has real b---s and one doesn't need a wheelbarrow to cart it around either! While real critical listening will have to...

Review: A comparison of Rotel Integrateds - RA1570 vs RA1592
            by Joey_V
            Introduction:
This is a comparison between 2 pretty popular integrateds. The Rotel RC1570 has been Rotel's best new series 15 integrated amplifier since their introduction, however, most recently there has been this craze for better and more powerful integrated amplifiers. The days where an...

Is there a way to get a date of manufacture from the serial number. I was reading the 200Mhz video thread. And looking up my serial number.

2 things concern me about my 1066 purchase.

            1) The inside ROTEL box with the green and white tape had not been opened. However, When...

What do you guys do with your Equipment Boxes?
            by Bing Fung
I have been in the hobby or Audio for as far back as I can remember. I still have some of my original components in boxes.

They question is what do you guys do with your empty boxes?

Are they empty taking up space or are they full of other equipment, stuff, junk?...
