    RB 1092, RC 1082 and,B&W 685 Or 686

    HI all
    This my first post ever so forgive me if i post incorrectly
    I am wondering if any one has any experience with rb 1092, rc 1082 and b&w 685 or 686 in combination, any thoughts or information would be welcome

      That is a rare combo, I mean the amp is ten times more expensive than those speakers...

      I bought an rb-1091 for my B&W N803, but it has arrived yet.
      It believe it uses the same amp module as the 92.

      Anyhow, check back in two or five weeks and i'll let you know if it's any good.

          I have a RC-1082, RB-1080 with N803 and it is nothing less than awesome. I'm sure the 685's and 686's would love the 1082/1092 combo.

              Hi jcawdell,

              My initial reaction is that an RB-1092 will be overkill for those speakers, i.e. much more power than you need. However if you plan to replace those speakers in the future with a pair of large floorstanders then you'll be ready!

              I have the RC-1082 and think highly of it. You'll find the rest of my gear in my Profile.

                  I just recently purchased the 685 as my main speakers , and the 686 for the rear surround speakers. I don't want to buy the FS-700 CM because of the price. What speaker stands do ya'll recommend for each pair (685) (686) ?

                  Which goes with 685's better, 608 or 610 sub?

                  My room is pretty small, 12x15x8. I like that the 608 is smaller physically, and I'm sure power wise it's probably okay for the room size, but in terms of the quality and level of 685's, is the 608 still good or would it go more with 686's?
