    Rsx1560

    Whats up all?

Anyone first off know the release of the the 15 series? I'm also wondering about the RSX1560. It looks to have built in ICE class D digital amps built in. 7x100. Thats pretty cool. 4u rack space total. Thats also cool. I'm wondering how it would do in a 7 channel home theater in a room 15 x 22 powering a full 4 ohm 86db speaker package.

I'm thinking Rotal may have used the rmb1077 mated with the rsp1570 in one chassis. If thats the case(Rotel is known for there power supplies), this would be a great replacement for seperates if space and desire to clean up wiring.

What do you guys think? Has anyone seen spc's on the RSX1570 with more detail, how about a rear picture?

Check out the "first look at the 15 series" thread. There's a link to an initial sales book for the line. Rear pictures and full specs..

A look at the back of the 1570
      http://www.rotel.com/NA/Products/Pro...74&Tab=2&Pic=6

Do any of the list members know if I can use the 1570 to drive 4 different amplifiers to drive 4 different spkr systems in 7.1 mode?
Also I am told that the 1570 has the ability to be switched to play all the spkrs in the 7.1 mode to stereo mode. Is this true?
And lastly, what were the Rotel corresponding model numbers for the unit(s)
      that the 1570 replaced.
This is my first post,TIA for any help you can give me.
      thanks,

With the use of line-level distribution amps, you could split the 7.1 outputs and run 4 different areas. They would all play the same thing and have the same volume.

You can run a 7.1 system and three stereo systems however, all with different sources and different volumes.

The 1570 replaced the RSP-1069 preamp.

        Welcome to the club!

Rsp-1570: Analog Stereo with Bass Management

Does anyone know if we the 1570 can send lower freq to subs from analog without converting the signal to digital?

I am currently using BYPASS MODE, but would like to use my expensive subwoofer if this is possible.

          1570 and two different subs.
          by WelshOne
Im trying to get my 1570 to run both my Sunfire HRS12 sub, and also my main L/R B&W 605's, which have a pair of built in subwoofers per speaker.

When using SUB OUT 1 to the Sunfire, and SUB OUT 2 to the B&W's from the Rotel 1570 outputs, there is excellent bass from the sunfire,...
