    Modding 1080

    hi all,
    Last night I opened my Rotel 1080
    and found out that some thing needed to upgrade
    at the input in XLR input we have OPA 134 P and some bypass capacitor which I don't know which model
    some Nichicon capacitors at the each side of the 1080
    the wires inside are so so OFC cables
    OH Oh I am tempted to upgrade my 1080
    ..........

          I replace the cables from Rotel capacitors and from the OUTPUT 2 to the binding posts to with some better USA cables,
          I cant call the name of cables due to respect of all

          I also upgrde the 2 pairs of coupling capacitors of the OPA 134 with Elna simic capacitors
          because I use the XLR input of 1080
          All I have is just cleaner and more defined sound
          Next step: change OPA 134 if possible because the 8 pins are so small
          may be I don't dare to Replace this OPA

          Rotel is affordable but they have some miserrable poor PARTS inside
