Radio Tuner and Weak AM Stations

Are there any differences between the RSX-1057, and the RT-1080 that would make a difference for pulling in weak AM stations?

I would hope so. I am not able to pull in a single AM station on my 1057 using the provided antenna. FM on the other hands sounds great hooked up to my roof mounted antenna.

      1067 Tuner memory RBDS bug

When I went to program my favorite radio stations into the tuner of my 1067, I discovered a problem (and a workaround) if a station is broadcasting with RBDS (station info).

My 1055 is giving me trouble with picking up stations higher than ~100.0 on FM.

I have tried both my roof mounted antenna and the simple dipole that comes with the Rotel with the same results: it doesn't pick up these higher stations, and in fact, it will lock onto some station of a...

      RSX-1065 FM Tuner not working
      by banzaii
I just picked up an RSX-1065 a few weeks ago and finally wanted to listen to some radio. After I connected the stock antenna I was able to receive AM stations but couldn't get any FM. Even if I manually select the frequency I can't hear anything.

Could it be that the stock antenna is...

      Tuner Recommendation

I am looking for a tuner to integrate into my 2-channel system. Unfortunately, I live in an area with relatively few FM stations and, as of yet, no HD stations. Sensitivity would be a critical factor to pick up weak signals. Also, compatibility with a satellite radio receiver and HD signals would be...
