    Rmb 1075

I think I may have damaged my RMB 1075. I heard a loud pop and now there's no output from the front left and left surround channels. Also, when powering up and down the red lights for the front left and front surround don't light. What have I done?

All I can offer is the obvious. Disconnect the speaker cables , the power , and check the fuses. Inspect the speaker cables closely , along with everything else you can see , and try turning it on with the speaker cables still disconnected. Perhaps someone a little more technically oriented will offer up some ideas.

I'd bring it for service... the lights should light up.

        by red71rum
I have wanted a Rotel amp for some time and because my wife does not understand my home theater obsession, I bought one used from Craigslist. I had asked the only owner all kinds of questions and finally bought it. It came with a like new manual, untouched warranty card amd two T6.3 250V(I think that's...

        Cables to bi-amp with RMB-1075
        by tme
        Hi everyone,

This is my first post. I just purchased a Rotel RMB-1075 last weekend along with B&W 704s and an HTM7.

I wanted to use 4 of the amps channels for the 704s, and am wondering how I would do the cabling to go from my receiver's preouts for left and right...

        Rotel RMB 1075, first impressions
        by mariachi
The Rotel RMB 1075 is replacing my Parasound HCA 85A, which pumps 85 *5. I was happy with my setup but wanted an additional amp to drive my back surround. I originally wanted to get a two channel Parasound so everything would match. When I went to one of my local Parasound dealers, the sales guy stated...

        UTP cable for speakers w/RMB-1075
        by pbarata
Would you recommend using UTP cable, normal cable for PC Networks, to be used as an alternative to normal speaker cables? The cable is Avaya - SYSTIMAX 4 Pair Grey UTP 1071E GigaSPEED XL Cable, high quality cable network cable. I plan to group colour conductors for the positive pole and the white conducts...
