I have an opportunity to buy N802 @ a great price. The question is what to drive them with. I was thinking of the 1092. I know there are mixed opinions on Class D, but.....Combined the 2 will cost me $6k. Sounds like a good bang for the buck, but will I be disappointed in what I get from the N802?

My dealer demos his 802Ds with a 1092. He must not feel that the 1092 is too shabby to risk making a bad first impression. Sounded fine to me...Bluespower- Bottom

I'm using a 1092 with a pair of 802d's. Totally fantastic! The 1092 is a very nice sounding Amp, with good mid-range detail, and it goes loud - very loud. You can't beat the "bang for the buck".- Mike

But we need to replace...-

by Boone38I am still using the 1060 and wondered if anyone has listened to or watched the 1092. I just found out that my dealer has a few in and the have it set up with the 802Ds. The system they are using to compare it with is the high end Meridian. BIG cost difference. 1500.00 vs 4500.00. Of course they feel...-
