    Bias setting RB-993?

Does anybody know what's the proper bias voltage for the RB-993 amp? Might somebody even have a service manual on pdf?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
Is one channel heating more than the other? Why do u want to adjust the channel bias voltages?
Best option is to mail Rotel mentioning the serial No of your amp and they should send u the bias Voltage.

RB-993 bias voltage should be 7.0 mV

Thank you for your reply. Common reasons for adjusting bias voltage are repair and when the channels have become misaligned. In my case I bought a used amp and wanted to make sure it was correct before installing it.

The bias voltage should be 7.0 mV for both RB-993 and RB-991.

        Amp Bias?
        by clarkbox
Can anyone tell me more about my amps bias? I have the Rotel RB-1080.

When i asked the dealer what causes one side/channel to become hotter than the opposite, he said it was likely due to the bias setting found under the covers.

The left side of this amp stays mildly warm,...

        RB-1090 bias setting
        by tanwn
I understand that Rotel recommends a bias setting of 5mv across TP1,2 for rotel rb-1090. Mine is the all black color amp. Can someone tell me whether the silver and black version has the bias tweak differently by rotel? If so what are the values? thanks.

        Bias adjusting of Bryston 7b-ST
        by ozanhan
        Hello,

I have to adjust the bias current of a Bryston 7B-ST.
There is TP1 and TP2 points which connected to collector, emitter resistors (0,22 ohms). What is the regular voltage for this points to set the bias current best value? I know the best way is to use a distortion analysers...

        Opinions please on RB993 & 1055
        by simonb68
        Hi folks

I'm interested in opinions on whether an RB993 would a good upgrade and suitable match for a 1055, with Dynaudio Contour 1.1 mains, and hopefully Contour or 122 centre speaker soon (currently an old Mordaunt Short thing, got it cheap).

I want to improve my 2ch...

How to add auto power-up kit to Rotel RB993
        by Belgarath99
        Hi

I recently acquire a Rotel RB993. Unlike the new Rotel RB1080, RB1095 etc, the RB993 does not have a 12V input. I like to know if anyone has suggestions on how to go about adding some sort of auto power-up kit to the power amp to work with my Denon 3805 receiver.

        Ideally...
