    Rotel RDV-1080 Questions

    Anyone have any experience with this unit? I am looking to upgrade my DVD to a unit that is good at both DVD and CD. Any opinions of this player? Any others in the price range ($850) that you'd recommend? Thanks in advance for your replies.

      I've not used it myself but its fairly well regarded I think. Most people see to still proclaim the Panasonic RP91 as the top dog right now though

          I have the RDV1080 DVD player - which in my oppinion is a nice player, but have (at least) one serious fault.. They forgot to put in two analog outputs for Right and Left channel and ditto for two coax digital outputs.

          Does anybody know if I can just add more phono plugs in the back of...

          As a current owner of a ASW 850 Sub and adding another one for serious HT and Music bass. Would an ASW 855 Have a different Sonic sound or obvious difference in sound than my current ASW 850, because my dealer said he had a perfect condition ASW 850 at half the price of the ASW 855...

          I have a 5.1 system: With a pair of b&W 803's in the front and a pair of B&W 804 for surround, The HTM1 center, and Sub ASW 850 at the moment run by Rotel 1098/1095 combo and Krell amp for the fronts. It sounds awsome in HT and in 5 channel music listening.

          705 and 750 sub compared to 805s and 850 sub

          Hi there.

          I have a pair of B&W 705 with an ASW 750 subwoofer which I am fairly satisfied with. However the urge to upgrade once again has hit me, so Im wondering about buying the 805s and the ASW 850 subwoofer, or maybe the 825 sub. Im getting a discount on the 850 from my local dealer....
