705 and 750 sub compared to 805s and 850 sub

Hi there.

I have a pair of B&W 705 with an ASW 750 subwoofer which I am fairly satisfied with. However the urge to upgrade once again has hit me, so Im wondering about buying the 805s and the ASW 850 subwoofer, or maybe the 825 sub. Im getting a discount on the 850 from my local dealer. I use it mostly to listen to music, but now and then I watch a few movies. Im planning to use it in the basement in a room which is about 20 m2. What do you think about this? Is it worth the extra money?

Sonic-x, what improvements do you expect to get with the 825 or 850 over the 750? Where do you think your 750 is letting you down?

Well, I am not sure. Thats why I ask some of you to help me decide better
I now have a pair of 805S at home, and they are so far more open and detailed, and with a deeper and more "punchy" bass than the 705`s. But if I decide to go for the 805S then the 750 in maple finish will not go very well together, therefore I wonder how much better the 825 is compared to the 750. It could be an expensive "facelift"

I´ve test 805s with both asw750, 825 and 855. I thought that there wasn´t really any much difference between the 750 and 825, the specs are the same on paper, they just look different! The 855, wooow, what a monster :E , a lot more slam and drive, but that´s nothing new for a 15inch driver. I´ve just ordered the asw 750! Don´t forget rule number one!! It´s your own ears that decide!!
