Audio Loss

Hi All

Has any one ever lost audio on there RSX 1067. On my 2nd receiver, and still loses audio when changing channels, or on standby, once repowered the next day it takes about 20 - 30min, for audio, and thats recycling the receiver. I'm completely lost. I've tried it all, from cables, tech support, repairs at rotel. Eprom flash works, but once the receiver is unpluged or power is lost, I lose audio.

Something sounds out of wack...and the fact that you said the eprom flash works for a little while would make me think something in that might be causing the problem. When you sent it to rotel, what did they replace/fix/find??

On the 1st unit, they replaced the digital board, but after four repairs ( 1 digital board and 3 eprom flashes and software upgrades) they replaced it with a refurb. I feel the same way , that there is another factor, but 2 receivers with almost identicle problems. I've had different sat boxes, cables, used no power filter, etc. I was able to speak with rotel today, my local sales rep/audio specialist is going to take a look at it in home, to determine, weather he can see the problem and repair, or send a tech out for possible repair or replacement. Keeping my fingers crossed. It,s been 1 year to long. Thankyou for the quick responce.

Well, I finally received the a replacment unit, they tested the replacement for 5 days, also had my dealer set the unit up for testing, all is ok, got it home, set it up all is well. I guess 3rd time is a charm ;x(

Replacing my RSX 1067

HI All

Right know my 1067 is peforming great, but if any one had a chance to replace the unit for separats, which would any one prefer, my dealer is willing to give me 1200 for the 1067 as a trade in, I dont know the blu book value. but that seems to be the asking price. Any comments would be well appreciated. My mains are B & W CDM 9NT center CDM CNT rears CDM SNT sub AWS 2500 CDM.
