    RSP-1066 Battery

When we have recently experienced a number of power bloackouts in our area, all the saved user information on my RSP-1066 is lost. I assume this is a result of the internal battery that allows the system to hold the setting in its memery has failed.

    Has anybody replaced this battery.

If so how difficult is it and what battery is required?

Any advice would be greatly apprciated.

    Regards,

    Phill

I don't think there's a battery, maybe the power black/brown outs corrupted the settings memory. Try doing a factory reset, and reconfiguring.

Correct, you really need it on some type of battery backup to keep the brownouts from defaulting the unit. Might want to upgrade the unit to 2.30 as it has several memory backup fixes.
