Placement help with rotel rb 1080

    Placement help with rotel rb 1080

    I want to place my Rotel qo80 as picture shows. I've talked to the person who has done this and he says that if the rotel 1080 normally is 38-40 degress celcius it will be maximum 50-55 degress celcius in the rack as shown (if you play loud).
    The rack is A IKEA "Oppli" and the distance between the topplate and the topplate is 10.5 centmeters (Or about 4.25 inches).

    Is this ok to place the Rotel rb 1080 in this place or is it not good for the performance of the 1080 in the long run?

    Please help, I want to move it very soon if possible.[IMG][/IMG]

      You should be fine with 4" of air space. Rotel's pre-amps usually run hotter then their amps anyway.
