    1069 - audio mode onscreen?

    Another question...

    I have an RSP-1069.

    I have my cable box on video 2. default audio is Dolby Pro Logic. Whenever I switch channels, it shows the sound mode on the bottom of the screen and I can't see the channel info. How I prevent this from showing on the screen? Do i have the processor in the wrong audio mode?

    Is there a way to turn off this on-screen info (for volume too)?

      On my 1056 receiver I think you can change the position of the sound info from top to bottom of the screen or vice versa but since I never use this because I have component output where the on-screen is not shown, I do not see information so I am not sure if it applies to the 1069. OTOH, my Motorola cable box does allow this switch from top to bottom. Does your cable/satelite box provide this option?

          Hi guys,

          New Rotel buyer here. Just picked up an RSP-1069 and RMB-1077. I spent 3 hours trying to hook up the components and have been rewarded with no audio or video.

          I'm pretty sure I have the 1069 and 1077 hooked up correctly, and all the speakers are correctly connected...
