    Evolving RSP-1066 to new HD (but even SACD) audio formats...

    Hi, I'd like to know if anybody has some news about a new HDMI 1.3 compatible Rotel sound processor.

    After having built a good sacd library, I've recently moved to Blu-Ray and I'd like to upgrade my (still good) RSP-1066 to decode:
    - SACD via HDMI (actually is via analog 5.1 input)
    - all the new audio HD formats (from PCM 5.1 to DTS-HD)

    ...and (second priority) have a good SD scaler to 1080p.

    Haven't you any ideas of a release date? It's strange Rotel is coming so late on the market with 1.3...

          Firstly, I know I need to get 6 Analog cables for my Multichannel output on the Pioneer 989 to the Multichannel inputs of the RSP....

          1066 owners – I ‘m asking for advice! I’ve had an RSP 1066 on order since May, when the initial shipment to Australia sold out.

          Now ‘my’ unit is due to arrive in Oz in just a week – and Rotel still has not corrected the bass management issues in the firmware.
