    Rmb-1075

I am planning on purchasing an RMB-1075 but wanted to know if you would recommend a different option for myself.
I currently have B&W 602s and a Rotel 1066, is the 1075 my best option right now?
Also, what are the class D amps? What are the pros/cons of the class D amp?

    Do you have 5 602s?
What kind of sub do you have?
Class D pros.. light weight, compact, runs cooler, more efficient.
Cons? I guess thats in the "ear of the beholder"

    And.... shameless plug.

I just have 602s in as the 2 main. I'm planning on getting a lcr600 for the center and I just have a 10" Klipsh for my sub.

If your speakers are efficient (90 db) this amp is verry nice. I have it with 5 Yamaha NS-1000 and there is plenty of power.

But someone told me that some B&W speakers demands more power. In that case, I would recommand the 1095 (200watts) or newer version.

Well I plan on my next purchase being an RB-1080 so that I'll have 200 watts going to the main speakers.

I'm pretty sure the maximum rating of the 602s is 125W, so I think the 1075 would be a perfect match. I used it for years on my 602s.

89 db is about average for an 8 ohm speaker and well withing virtually any receiver or amp's abilities. Over the past 15 years or so, speaker efficiency has slowly increased on average as a result of home theater I suspect.

Well, some of you have had your 2HD's for awile now. I'm still pretty set on getting one (mainly because it seems to have them most bang for the buck ). I've almost saved enough to take the plunge, so I thought I'd throw this question out to you all.

Sometimes you want to use your favourite driver or have to use a specific driver in a design, but unfortunately the BR pipe is way to long.
You can use a smaller pipe diameter, however that limits the max SPL (because of the air velocity) and would be a sin for a driver with...
