1056 Tuner Problem

I've had my RSX-1056 for a few months now but have only just tried listening to the radio. Neither AM nor FM can pick up any channels, even when a known station frequency is selected. Both included antennae are connected and I've also tried connecting the FM antenna input to the one on the roof. A cheap clock radio nearby has no reception problems.

It was bought new although as a superseded model but is still under warranty.

Any suggestions are much appreciated,

Well any tuner I've dealt with with pick up something with just a metal twist-tie in the back. I suspect it's just a bad tuner module. If you are in NA, Rotel has a new replacement policy during the first year of purchase. If they have any 1056's left you should be able to get a new one.
