I have an rb1050 just laying around right now and was contemplating adding it to my rsx1056.The rsx1056 is rated at 100x2,the rb1050 70x2.Would it even be worth the trouble adding the 1050 to the rsx1056 for the fronts.Would i notice anything being the amp is rated lower.I just hate to get to the rear of the rec to add the amp and realize it was a waiste.

if you have surrounds channels, I'd use it on those. I highly doubt that you'll see an improvement in SQ with a lower wattage amp. (from the same company) -
I ran that set up briefly, using the 1050 for my "mains" (Klipsch RF 7), and it worked fine, and did allow the use of the re-direct feature of the reciever to give 7.1 vs 5.1.Comment

in the online manual it states 70wpc

I have an rsx 1056 and an RB1050 I am using for zone 2. Would I get any benefit from redirecting the front amps to zone 2 and using the 1050 to power the fronts? Speakers are B&W 685's. All opinions welcome, thanks. -
