    rotel software update for rsx-1055

    hey everyone!!!!
    have a question. what does the improved memory back up software do for my reciever? is it worth me upgrading my system from version 2.26?

      I wouldn't think it's worth it unless you got the RVE scaler. The memory backup feature is for when you save all your settings and restore them later. I imagine there was some errors with that in certain situations. If you use this feature a lot, it might help, but I doubt you use it.

              Last week i tried out the RSX1055. I can tell you all that i was very impressed, but now i am doubting if i should go for the 1055 or the 1056.
              The following things could be important for me.

              Equalizing each channel apart. (speakers are not off one brand)...
