    strange / weird

    Hello All,

    RSP976 hooked into a Yamaha RVX3000's 6-channel input for sound.
    Every explosion / loud noise during a DVD, the center channel sound very distored. VERY DISTORED!!! Voices come through great. Now I had this same problem with a Marantz DP870 hooked into the Yamaha. Maybe the promblem is the Yamaha not the Rotel. Or just it's time to get a amp.

    Anyone else have / has this problem?

      Sounds like the Yamaha. Could be in the amp or the input circuit.

              Hello All,

              Anyone using this DD prosessor? I have it hooked up with my Yamaha rxv-3000. What a major difference between the two. This is the econmical way of getting into separates. The DVD player & cable box is plugged into the dp-70. The Yamaha is used for power only.

              Hello All,

              I know this is "old school" but anyone using this prossessor with the DTS upgrade? I'm using the DP870 with a Yamaha RX-V3000 in the bedroom. Major difference in sound when I A/B Dolbly Digital DVD/ HDTV shows. There's a DP870 with msb dts upgrade on sale on audiogon....
