    Rotel RC 1080 with Crown?

Hi just purchased a pair of B&W CDM 9NT's and a rotel RC1080, was planning on trying to get a rotel rb1070 or 1080 but came across this Crown CTs600 amp for a good price at a local shop. Is anyone familiar with this model? It has lots of power 300wpc, but can't seem to find too much info about the amp? Anyone know it? THanks.

I believe it's used more as Pro amp (think your local band playing at your local pub) and some use them as sub amps. Check out the PE site listed as a sponsor here at the top of the page, they sell them, for more info.

Doesn't mean you cant use it for your home audio, but you may like the sound of a Rotel 1080 better.

Most "pro" amps were designed to run class c, where home audio is a-a/b.
If you like it loud, and aren't concerned with sonics grab one, but if you like to set and "listen" to the music, avoid them.
