    Crossover setting for RSP-1068?

    Hello All,

I'm using all Paradigm Ref speakers with the RSP-1068 & RB-985:
    Studio 100 v2 (fronts)
    CC center
    Studio 20's v3 (surrounds)
    PS-1200 sub

Should I set speakers for small or large?

Although the Studio 100v2's are a pretty full range speaker it's somewhat difficult to drive. I'd set them a small so the amp has a little more headroom. That said, you should try it both ways and settle on what you think sounds the best.

      Thanks hifiguymi,

I set the speakers to small, there's a difference. I've only tested music so far. I'll do movies this weekend.

HT room what is considered small, big, etc.?
        by 2channellover
Still in the planning stages, but the room in my basement designated for HT is 17'd x 21'w x 10' (ceiling).

The room is a basically a rectangle shape and I plan on putting a projector screen on the 21' wall to ensure plenty of room for 4 theater chairs side by side. Right now I like the...

Hi everyone I am new to this even though I am longtime rotel owner, so be gentle.

        I have a RSP1068 with a bass managment issue.

I have four large speakers and a sub and a small centre speaker

The rotel won't let me have a small centre speaker without dumping...

        RSP1068 Bass Management

        Hi,

Wonder if someone could help me. I have the RSP1068. I am using a REL Q100E which unfortuntely does not allow me to disable the crossover via the RCA in. I currently run my Front LR speakers full range and the bass is tapped via the high level to the REL. I currently set the REL...

Would the RSP1068 also make a good 2 channel preamp?
        by BKSinAZ
I am a 50% music and 50% movie person with my system and in need of a prepro. For 2 channel music, how is the RSP1068? Not really into buying two preamps.

How does the RSP1068 compare with the RSP1056 for 2 Channel music?
