I worked a deal for my 1040 with an authorized dealer via email. Only had to call them to give them my credit card info. They then shipped it to me.
It was a local dealer in my area but I was not going to be able to go in and buy in-store.
I guess I wont say who that dealer is.

Have you used Rotel's dealer locator to find the next closest dealer to you? I'm sure they can't be that far away.Originally posted by DSGCobraLooking for an RLC-1040 my dealer stopped carrying Rotel? unsure why? So does any reputable / authorized dealer mail order Rotel gear?

That would be ok. It's the interstate transactions and competing markets they have a problem with.Originally posted by Club1820I worked a deal for my 1040 with an authorized dealer via email. Only had to call them to give them my credit card info. They then shipped it to me.

There are others dealers in my area. Just all my business goes to one place and I would like to keep it that way. I figured with a mail order it wasn't as bad, I am very loyal to my dealer as they have been great to me over the past 15 years or so.Originally posted by hifiguymiHave you used Rotel's dealer locator to find the next closest dealer to you? It sucks that the dealer you nomally go to isn't carrying Rotel anymore, but it's better to keep the business as local as possible IMO. I think that is better than giving it to someone you'll never meet face to face.Originally posted by DSGCobraThere are others dealers in my area. by aws6000Is Georgia Home Theater the only authorized Rotel dealer in Georgia? The area code dealer search on the Rotel web site returns only that particular dealer. Don't mind shopping at the store, but sort of hinders any chance of bargaining. Of course, that may be a moot point if dealers generally stick...-

by corysmith01Hi-
I just purchase a Rotel RB1070 to beef up my 2 channel listening, which I do more of than movie watching. As I'm waiting for it to arrive, I decided to download the manual and read a little about it. Inside the manual, this advice was offered by Rotel:
"Be aware...-

by newuser12345Hi, I have a 5.1 setup using B&W 600s and Rotel 1056 bought many years ago. Think it is the time to upgrade to HDMI connections. Does Rotel 1550 or 1560 still worth the price? Any alternative choice? Also seems not as many dealers are both authorized Rotel and B&W dealers today compared to 6...-

by dmeisterHello. I am shopping for some new gear, and have decided between either the Rotel or NAD lines. I just wanted to ask some Rotel users a few questions in order to help with my purchase decision:
1. For those Rotel owners who are familiar with NAD gear, how would you compare the build quality...-
