Hi everybody,
In the very near future, I will be upgrading to a pre/pro from my current Denon 3803. I would like some suggestions as to what pre/pro would be an ideal match for my Rotel RMB 1095. How many digital inputs is suffice? More is better but is 3 coaxial and 2 optical sufficient for the multitudes of digital equipment nowadays?
Outlaw Audio and Rotel are ones I am looking at right now. My budget would be in the 1000.00 to 1500.00 CAD range for starters of course give or take a few hundred bucks.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Who knows if they will replace the RVE-1060 in the future, but it is not upgradeable in it current form. They would have to start from scratch for a piece that will do 1080P. The new preamps are supposed to be out sometime this fall but no firm time table is set at this time. The only piece that is on it's way that will do 1080P is the RSX-1058 and that ships in April.
The last news my rep had gotten from Rotel showed it will do uncompressed multichannel PCM as well. I will try to verify that as soon as I can.
