7.1 on 1066?

I've recently picked up an used 1066 and now that I have a much bigger room to work with, thinking about going with a 7.1 setup. Does the 1066 support a 7.1 or 6.1 setup? I know it does support DTS neo 6, but can it support the DPLIIx as well? If not, does the 1068 offer those supports?

The 1066 supports DD-EX and DTS-ES encoded discs. It also has XS mode which is rotel's own 7.1 mode for all 5.1 formats. It does not support PLIIx.

The 1068 did add PLIIx, and it's something I would consider essential for a 7.1 system.
