    RX-402...any info?

I tried looking on rotels site for the manual but it dosen't seem to be there. A quick search didn't turn up much either. Anyone have particulars on this unit? I've been able to gather that it's a 1974 product and rated at 20w but that's about it. I just scored one off ebay that will be going into my daughter's first system (along with a pair of Polk Monitor 5jr's) and am curious about the amp and FM tuner performance. Thanks.

Couldn't find a spec sheet on it, but I did find a pdf that contained a Sound Room advertisement for it.

    It said:

    Continuous power output 25W/ch minimum RMS @ 8ohms 20-20,000Hz

IM Distortion at rated power <0.2%

    and...

"Advanced FM components utilize ceramic filters and FET for excellent FM reception with absolute stability"

      Unrated vs. Rated??
      by june
      Hello All,

Do anyone watch the rated versions of a DVD if there's a choice rated or unrated?

I think it's a waste of time giving us both versions of a film. I've never watched a rated version if the unrated is available.

My only wish is adding in all deleted...

RMB 1075 rated power vs actual power
      by Michael Garrott
      Hi,

I have a friend who is considering purchasing a 1075 multi-channel amp and he wanted to find out the power specs per channel.

The 1075 is rated by Rotel as 120W per channel, all channels driven, but I also understand Rotel tends towards the conservative side of things....

      Xmax vs rated power
      by Nathan P
Okay, if a speaker is rated at 50W RMS, 75 Max, but doesn't exceed xmax when pushed at 100W crossed over at say 90hz, will it be able to handle it, or will it smoke the voice coil. I know it won't blow it out in the literal sense (Xmax exceeded), but will it smoke the coil even though it's not going...

How long is your Netflix or Blockbuster queue? (and how many movie have you rated?)
      by Chris D
I signed up for Netflix about 9 months ago, and have steadily been putting in all my ratings for movies that I've seen. When you do all the numbers, it's pretty amazing.

      - So far, I've rated 1,639 movies. As I come across or think of movies I've seen, I go to Netflix and rate them....
