    rsp1068 audio switching

To save me the hastle of getting behind my equipment i was wondering if someone could tell me if its ok to use multiple audio connections on the 1068 for the same source eg.have the dvd player hooked up using a dig coax and analogue rca's and then just toggle thru the sound settings to select which one you want to use (i have a couple of dvd's with clips off computer which only have analogue sound).I know my old yamaha amp could do this.

    thanks for replies

Hey chaps, I hope you can help.

I finally switched from digital coaxial to 7.1 analogue connections between my HTPC and Processor to take advantage of the new sound formats.

Unfortunately the upgrade has introduced a nasty buzzing sound through the speakers. It does not...

high frequency noise / hiss, RSP1068
        by torgelow2005
I'm using the RSO 1068 + RMB 1075 and I'm not satisfied with the noise behavior!

I'm not talking about white or pink noise from the power amp but about a high frequency signal (kHz range, like
tinnitus) mainly from the rear speaker.

I only hear this noise when...

        Hi,

Having got a new DVD, something I've just got round to trying with my RSP 1098 is wanting to switch between digital and analogue inputs on the 1098 to compare the sound.

The manual makes it look like this is easy using the “2 Channel” button to toggle or the “Sur+”

Would the RSP1068 also make a good 2 channel preamp?
        by BKSinAZ
I am a 50% music and 50% movie person with my system and in need of a prepro. For 2 channel music, how is the RSP1068? Not really into buying two preamps.

How does the RSP1068 compare with the RSP1056 for 2 Channel music?
