does anyone know of a way to control the 1098 via your pc and the ethernet jack on the rear of the 1098? I have heard of this wth other pre/pro's but not with this one yet.

There's no free software that can do it, plus you are limited to about 50-100' from PC to pre-amp.

The file I have is called Rotel_ctrl.exe file (Rotel PC controller), and is about 92kb in size, but it's dated 2003. Perhaps, you can do a google search.Originally posted by cadman

That only works for the 1055,1066,and 1065 unless you know how to program VisualBasic.
