    stackin up rotel components

    Hey guys,
I just purchased RMB-1095 amp and RSP-1066 processor. I wold like to put 1066 on top of 1095. Will I have any performance issues if I do this (heating problmes etc)? What do you suggest?

I believe this has been asked before; do a search in this forum. Some guys do stack one or more Rotel onto each other with no problems. However, the majority will advise you to give your components some breathing space..

I believe the 1066 might actually get hotter during normal use, but both do produce some heat. I would advise against stacking either on top of either, but if you have to I would put the 1066 on top.

Thanks for your input guys. I would need to experiment with this setup and find out what works the best. I just have some very limmited space.

life with rsp 1068 vs 1066 vs 1098
          by rosros
In feb I had a chance of comparing side by side the rsp 1098 with the rsp 1066. at the time, I was thinking about upgrading from the 1066 to the 1098. the rsp 1098 was a loaner from my rotel dealer. I had the 1098 for one week. Although the 1066 is a wonderful unit, for my usage, ultimately, it was...

I picked up my RSP-1066 / RMB-1075 combo yesterday afternoon and started hooking everything up. Haven't had a chance to listen to it yet because I finished hooking up all of the components (and one speaker channel) in the middle of the night. In any case, here are a few comments thus far:

RSP-1066 review, compare to an almost top of the line Yamaha receiver...
          by LEVESQUE
I don't know why but we don't see much talk about this pre-pro anymore, so I've decide to post a "mini-review", because it's a direct comparaison between an almost top of the line receiver and a dedicated pre-pro. I see alot of post on this "hot subject": good receiver or real pre-pro,...

I am in the process of getting a new A/V rack but until I settle in on which one to get, I had to take care of the WAF with my current rack/layout. I have two tower racks currently, each one flanking my RPTV/HDTV. Each tower has a series of components plugged into a Monster Power HTS 5100; each 5100...
