        new speakers

I think I better change my name..
until 3 mos. ago i had
        klipsch rf-7 front
        rc-7 center
        rf-5 rears
        rs-3 surrounds
do to an economic necessity I moved into a smaller house and my HT room was smaller so first I went from 7.2 to 5.2
speaker setup, as conditions continued unfavorably I sold the Klipsch speakers and now I have:
        ESS PS-8H in rear
ESS modified (rc-7) center.. removed horn and replaced it heil amt driver.
Fronts are a Bi-Amped concoction of ESS PS-8 cabinets with full range Heil AMT sitting on top.
rmb-1075 running center, back and front heil AMT with rb-1050 running the front ESS PS-8's eight inch driver, I use a ICBM for bass management running stereo HSU sub's ..
even though I spent 1/3 as much as the Klipsch's I get a really good sound, the mid and high's are sweeter the heil have a rise time ratio greater than 5 to 1 and the Klipsch horns were a 4 to 1 ratio. the bottom sounds better now because of the BFD I now use to equalize the sub's

Parasound A21 and Paradigm 100 Studio v.3 = best choice?
            by saiko
Now i have Paradigm 100 Studio V3 and integrate amp - Nad 320 (2 channel setup). It's not very well sound union, because this amp have too poor power and soap sound. Now i'd like to buy power amp for my acoustics. I will use it without preamplifier: from quality sound cart direct to power amp.

1095 too much for Paradigm Studio 20?
            by Bill Blank
I've got a Rotel 1066/1075 combo and have been contemplating an upgrade in the amp department. I'd like the system to be a tad more effortless with music and more amplifier power is usually the solution. Thing is the 20's are only rated up to 150 watts. Now I know speaker power ratings aren't good for...

'Plug and Play' with Rotel and Paradigm?
            by D1 Meyer
I'm new to the forum and will soon be acquiring a new stereo system. Based on the reading I've done, and the friends I've talked to, I expect to base the system on a Rotel pre-amp (RC-1070 or RC-1090), a Rotel amp (RB-1070 or RB-1080), and Paradigm Reference Studio 20 speakers. Unfortunatley, we live...
