    noisy 1068

    Very angry thing
    the right front channel is very noisy when the other channel are woking normal
    It only happens when play DVD
    When play CD in analog or PCM mode 1068 working normal :M
    Help before I bring it back to the dealer

      Have you swapped interconnects, used different amp channels, checked speaker connetctions etc to confirm it's the 1068?

          I've the same with my analogue inputs on the 1068 I bought 2 weeks ago (All channels). It is most definitely the 1068... I'm working it out with my dealer, I'll keep you posted.

              I've got a 1068 and recently picked up a Anthem PVA 7. I'm looking into biamping my front channels with the left over surround channels since I won't be using a 7.1 setup.

              Does anyone know if the outputs on the 1068 are assignable?

              There is a clear issue with my 1068. I have my cable box hooked up via component to my 1068. When on HiDef channels the picure blacks out every 30 seconds or so.

              An obvious fix would be to plug my cable right into my TV, but if I do there I wont be able to access my OSD from the rotel...

              Hi,

              I am new to HTGuide so I apologize if this is a re-run of an older thread.

              I have a Rotel RSP-1068 that I purchased a few years ago. Its suddenly having a lot of problems. The Front L/R channels are dead and occasionally it appears to just lose sync with the audio source...

              Hello all.

              I have a 1068. It appears to be working fine, but i want to make sure somethign is normal, so i can get it fixed (for free) if it is not.

              When listening to just about all kinds of music, the sub output works fine, and the sub is working great.

              I just got myself a shiny new RSP 1068 with the latest(1.1.7) firmware and it seems to be playing up.

              I've reset it to factory defaults and gone into the 'speaker setup' and set 'center back' to 'none', but when I press menu, the 'system status' screen shows CB1...
