    865 advice

    I have an older 865 bx (cd) with a bell canto dac 1,looking for suggestions for possible transport in the rotel line. I recently heard a meridian 508and thought it sounded very good.Ant suggestions as to upgrades/replacement,that would be worthwhile? I'm a newbee here,with pretty "thick skin",so any suggestions will be appreciated.

      OK today we bit the bullet and ordered a pair of 802Ds to be our front speakers. Our preamp is a Linn Unidisk SC with Synergistic Research active Sig 10 speaker cables and the X2 active interconnects. Our current fronts were 804s which will become our rear speakers.

      Hello all, I have a RCD 865 cd player from around 1992 which I am quite happy with.It was Rotels flagship model back then at $600 US.Has anyone gone from older Rotel players to a later model,and if so,was there a significant improvement?I am running it with 1066/1075 combo.
