    Thor,

Keep all your speakers set to small. You can set your Lfe ( sub) crossover for 80hz (most commonly recommended) or 60 hz as some folks prefer. Simply a matter of personal taste. Keep your sub set to ext. for theater, but watch the volume on the sub when listening to cds if you decide to use it for music also. As you become familiar with the on screen display and flexibility of this system, I,m sure you'll be pleased!
Good luck with your new system! Be patient during the breakin period of the 603 S3. Once broken-in they sound terrific!

    Enjoy,

    Al

A month ago, I had purchased a pair of Mission 700AS subs. Due to room constraints, I have to place the subs in one location, front left corner about 2-3 feet from both walls. From time to time, I can localize the subs. My current Sony 777ES receiver/sub setup: Paradigm Reference speakers set to small...

      5 & 7 Channel Stereo RSP -1066 Sub Setup

I have been enjoying listening to music over 5 channel stereo. I know its a sin to audiophiles, but hey I like being surrounded by the music and getting equal power in all corners.

The problem I have is in 5/7 Chnl Stereo the LFE channel is really weak. I have small speaker setup all...
