For Music, Rotel 1056... Then you can get a nice matching 2 Channel amp as well (and the Rotel 1056 should be "on sale" right now with the 1057 out already).Comment

I bought a Yamaha RX-V1500 a few weeks ago. I chose Yamaha mainly for the features and reliability but find the sound to be a little harsh. I still have the option of returning it for a Marantz SR-7500/8500 or a Rotel 1056.
I would tend to lean more towards Marantz for reliability.... -
