Is Rotel still manufacturing other products beside the RSP-1098 ??

It’s just kind of a joke since all (most) of the active subjects are regarding the RSP-1098…

No more questions or subjects regarding other products…I feel like I’m the only one without a RSP-1098!!!

No you're not...lol I think it's just a case of until the new products come out everyone else doesn't have much to talk about. I mean let's face it pretty much any questions about the older units has been answered... more than once Some people may have noticed I've been a little quiter in Club Rotel than previously. Honestly I thinks it's because a lot of the questions pertain to the 1098 which I sadly don't own  That's right all of you feel sorry for me...lol

                    Will,

I know what you mean, I have sonically benefited from the 7.1 channel upgrade using the RB-1080, just as you had suggested ,and I am still in the tweaking stages.

                    Regards,

                    Azeke

While I'm glad that you guys are discussing something other than the 1098.. ... but I don't own a 1080 either!

                        Jason,

Perhaps you should upgrade to the RB-1080, I'm sure it would run well with your exisiting 1066 and 1075  . What do you think?

Will do you think we can push him over the edge?

                        Regards,

Yeah, I think so. Jason, make a visit to your friendly neighborhood Rotel dealer, take a listen and enjoy yourself. There's no pressure at all, buddy (hahaha).

Talking about another brand is blasphemy, but I need some sympathy, and this could be a lesson to all: I'm about to send my Arcam CD92 to the shop to have the top cover and faceplate replaced. The top has suffered some minor blemishes and the front display window has some "spiderweb" scratches. They're all minor but you might already know I'm extremely obsessive-compulsive with my electronics. I had my el-cheapo Sony DVD player on top of my Arcam for a year and the lesson is don't put anything on top of your precious Rotels.

Actually you should go with a 1098 and a 1080. That way you will not be left out of any discussions

I like to share some of recent experience with my new 3D TV setup with my current Rotel RSP1098/RMB1095 setup. I am hoping this information is useful for anyone with the same configuration out there that are interested to take the 3D plunge.

I had not been very active in the last couple...

Can anybody tell me if this is normal..?When I use my sub and use the crossover filter in the RSP1098 the sub makes a popping sound every time the RSP1098 clicks from dolbydigital to 2ch and back, and when I change the input from cd to tuner and other settings?

Stupid baffle question - Woofer beside tweeter, why not again?
                                    by wigginjs
I know that it is a commonly understood design rule not the place the woofer and tweeter horizontally beside each other in a two-way speaker, but why not again? Is it because it generally makes for a wide and thin baffle that requires more baffle-step compensation? What about in the case of an in-wall...

Just got my first 2 Rotel components, namely an RSP1098 and an RMB1075.
Very happy with both, even though they are severely being limited at the moment by my cheap Yamaha speakers which will be replaced with B&W (800 or 700 series) very soon.
Only 1 thing i can't get to work, the speaker...
