    RB1092 - RMB1077. something in between?

    with the new 1,2 and 7 channel Rotel D-amplifiers coming out, will they release anything in between that?
    I would like to see a 3 or 5 channel amp.

    I have a descent 2 channel amp (Classe CA-401) that powers my B&W802s, but my center channel and surround are powered by an ancient Denon receiver, fine for the surrounds but a HTM-1 needs a bit more juice.
    I could get myself a RB1091 for the center speaker, but if Rotel would have a 5 channel amp I could get rid of the Denon all together.

      I'm not thinking they are going 5.1, I think they are sticking to 7.1 systems as the future...

      Though I wouldn't put it past them...just don't see it happening. The only thing I'd be concerned about is I think you want the same things powering your front three speakers, it will create a better seemless soundstage with them. You will notice the different type of amplifciation between the center and main speakers. I'd say find another Classe mono-block to power your center and be done with it.
      Digital Audio makes me Happy.
