    RSX 1067 anf "LF" setting

Can anyone tell me why for some reason it seems to default to "max" in the LF setting? If I switch from 5 channel stereo from 2 CH the LF goes to to the Max and I have to manually bring it down to 0 again. This also happens when I swith back to 2 channel.

any help on this would be great appreciated.

If you are adjusting the levels via the remote or the front panel, those are temporary. They will go back to what's set in the menu anytime you change sound fields or sources.

ok thanks...can you explain what the "defeat" means in the contour area for this? Also the base reallly seems to increase when I switch from 2 channel to 5 channel...is that normal?

DEFEAT bypasses the contour controls. Allows you to have a setting and bypass it if needed.

Since the 5ch stereo is more of a 'party' mode, I wouldn't be surprised if it boosted the bass a bit.

RSX-1067 Zone Channels as Sub Amp for Gallo Ref3's?
          by methril
I'm having a tough time finding a quality crossover to filter the full range line-level signal from my receiver's pre-outs prior to running them through a separate 2-channel amp (NAD C370) to power the 2nd set of subwoofer voice coils on my Gallo Reference 3's. Guess I'll just have to wait for the Gallo...

          RSX-1067 OSD with progressive scan
          by BW4me
I just changed an old tv connected to my RSX 1067 with a new HD tv that now longer lets me view the OSD function. I've read the manual which seems to indicate there is a "progressive" setting the the "Other Options" setup menu. But to see the OSD to select the option assumes I...

          by kevsmith
          Hi there Rotel fans,

Apart from the two new RSX models that Rotel is just rolling out. Would you consider the RSX-1067 to have the best DACs, internal amps than all other RSX models ? I ask this because even though the RSX-1067 was Rotels flagship model for sometime, Rotel released a...

Can anyone please help me? I am in Australia and am looking into setting my first dedicated home theatre, I'm rather keen on the RSX-1067 but am having a hard time obtaining any reviews on here regarding this amp. Just wondering if this is a decent amp or am I better to go seperates?
