I have had my RDV-1060 since they first came out. A couple of days ago, I started having a problem playing some new DVD-Audio discs that I had purchased. I thought maybe it was a defective couple of discs, as all my other DVD-As still played fine. Then my wife said that some discs sounded like they were "skipping" occasionally.
Today I turned on the unit, and the green ROTEL display that comes on my TV when I first turn on the unit was GREY!!! I thought there was a problem with my projector. After trying various things, I found I could get no Progressive Scan signal at all out of the Rotel. All the color is as if there is no GREEN. When I switch to S-Video on my projector, it is only receiving a MONOCHROME signal from the Rotel. Incidentally, all my other DVD players and cable TV still function properly through the same inputs on the projector, so it is definitely a RDV-1060 problem. I will be contacting my dealer about a replacement unit. Just wondering if anyone else has had problems with their DVD player taking a dump.
I wasn't too pleased, as I just got a bunch of new DVDs for Christmas that I had hoped to watch today!!!
