    Another proud RCD-1072 owner

I just Auditioned the rcd-1072 and it blew me away. As soon as i heard it i was amazed at it's sound. I picked it up on the spot and for a good price too ($760 CAD which is a pretty good price as it normally goes for $900+tax).

I've been listening to all my music with a big stupid grin. Is it OK for us to act like that, lol. A quick thanks to all at club Rotel.

    Thanks,
    Peter

    Shades,

Welcome. The RCD-1072 is IMO impossible to beat for the money and seriously "grin inducing".. I love mine

          Hi all,

Maybe this is not the place to discuss this, but I have quite a problem on my hands. A couple of months ago I got me the RDV1040 at an excellent price. My aim was to go for the RCD1072, but I had budget constraints. Times have changed and I am in business for the RCD1072. However,...

Found some info on the new cd player.

Its from a german site called http://www.gute-anlage.de (translates into www.good-system.de), which is a site from the german distributor I think. They have the RCD1072 listed at 899 euro with the following text:

          RDV (1040,1050,1060) or RCD1072 + RDV?
          by tboooe
Hi. I mostly listen to music but occasionally watch movies. Since I place more value to listening to music should I get separate CD and DVD players? I have read that some people notice a considerable difference when playing a CD on the RDV and the RCD. If the difference is big then I would be inclined...

          RCD1070 or RCD1072 ?
          by Stev
          Hi
I have the option of buying a new RCD1070 for about 30% less than a RCD1072. Is there much of a difference between them ? Any problems with the earlier model i should be aware of ? The saleman says ther is little if any audible difference between the two models. Any thoughts would be appreciated....
