1) is it possible to order another RC-1070 remote?
2) What was the model number of the remote?

No 1 - Not sure you will need to check with International Dynamics
No 2 - According to the online manual RR-AT92

As an option you could always buy a universal/learning remote that should already have the Rotel codes installed, might be cheaper and better than the original too.

Thanks for the responses guys. It turned up :P ! There had been a lot of people around during the last few days and it looked as though it may have ended up in someone's pocket and walked. Turned up under a bed in a completely different room. Don't ask me how it got there, but I'm happy!
