    1098 ground loop

    Hi Guys,
Got a bit of a ground loop buzz with 1098 and 1075. It is a constant volume and only goes away at mute, 0 volume or 1098 off, it's not very loud but there all the same. Volume of buzz does not change at all.
Got two dvd's plugged in via digitial co-axial, cd and set top box via analogue 2 ch and stb and dvd player pictures into 1098 via composite.

    Any suggestions?

    Glen

Unplug your cable/sat feed from the STB for starters..

Try optical instead of digital co-axial on the dvd's. The dvd's also have a ground connection through the video cable.

          Need Help/Advice - RSP-1068 Buzz/Hum
          by pciav
I've owned my RSP-1068 since July of 2004. My boss and I purchased units at the same time from the same dealer. In general I love it. I paired it with an ATI 1806 Amplifier and everything has been great until just before Christmas when I first noticed a buzzing sound. I say buzz, because I liken...
