    RB1070 or BK 125.2 S2?

    Looking for opinions between these two good amps.

    Disregard price.

    Which has a higher current output? Which will power 4 ohm speakers better?

      Very happy with my RB1070. I use it to push B&W804N - no problems @ 4 ohms.

              Keep in mind that the RB-1070 has only one set of speaker jacks.

                  RB-1070 is great, but RB-1080 is even better. More power = better sound, not only louder.

                          Yeah, but $430 for a 1070 is why I'm going for it.

                          Also, I wont need all the 1080 has to offer since I'm set on running only bookshelf speakers (like the Polk LSi9, Onix Reference 1, or Sonus Faber Concertinos).

                                  You mean IF I go the route of 1080? LOL...

                                  I hope I keep the 1070, but if anything happens and I decide against it - I'll sell it to you for what I paid for it.

                                      Hi all,

                                      Can anyone tell me the difference soundwise between the RB1070 and the RB1080?

                                      At nearly double the price, does the RB1080 sound any better than the RB1070? (RB1080 = $1600 V's RB1070 =$900) Thats recommended full retail prices in Australia.
