    No sound from the center channel in DD2.0

    I have a 1098 with firmware 2.1.1. When I play a DD2.0 movie the pre selects Dolby D + PLIIC as the surround mode. This mode doesnt put any sound(vocals) in the center channel. (It does successfully take all vocals out)

    Any suggestions?

          Are you sure it's a IC problem? I'm not sure when the error was introduced, but 2.1.8 fixed the problem of no center output on DD2.0 tracks when the last mode was 5.1.

          I seem to remember the bug being introduced in 2.1.7, but you never know. You can go from PCM to DD2.0 with no problems. 5.1 to 2.0, no center. It was very annoying on DiscoveryHD as all their commercials are 2.0.
